How much jail time can be cut off from this sentence, and is acr applicable (as this crime was committed before 2005, just sentenced to jail time in 2016.)

My husband was sentenced to 6 months jail for a credit card fraud he committed 13 years ago. He's already served 3 months in jail and 6 months in a restitution center (Within these 13 years). The judge said because of that, some time will be deducted from his current sentence. How long are they most likely to deduct, and is there any way to get him out early? And does this still apply - For offences committedbefore April 4 2005: if the sentence is less than 12 months, the prisoner will get Automatic unconditional release (ACR) at the half way point
