My mom was just arrested because her boss accused her of stealing is this legal? She has work in for him for a long time she pretty much ran the bissness. He harassed her, doesn't let employees have lunch breaks. She recently decided to move to south Carolina to live with her brother until she got a new job and was going to leave Sunday and all of her stuff is on the way there. The accountant had already told the owner of the company that all the books were fine and correct. I belive he is doing great this because she quit and she practically ran the bissness and took care and handled everything. So when she quit he was mad and asked her what he was going to do because she was the only one there that worked her as off on and off the clock to save him. He was pretty much saying that he was screwed with out her , so I think he's doing this to get her back. Can she be arrested and how long can they hold her? And what happens next? She also just filled for unemployment and put down for the reason she left was because of harassment
