What are my rights as a 100% commission based worker that has been issued a subpoena?

Help! I have been issued a subpoena to give my deposition as a witness to a traffic accident. I have already appeared in court once, but was dismissed as a witness. I work on straight commission and can't afford to take a significant amount of time off. (I lose about $90 per hour while out of the office). What are my rights? This is it the State of Texas, the deposition takes place in a lawyer's office, and the case if filed with a district court.
