My Pod or Yours? Apple Sues Over Use of 'Pod'

Mon Sep 27, 2010 Apple has dominated the portable music industry ever since introducing the iPod and apparently plans on keeping it that way---the company has filed suit over another company's use of "pod" in a product name. Sector Labs wants to introduce a video projector called the Video Pod. Apple found out about the product in 2009 and has filed a 873 page brief detailing why they have exclusive rights to the name.
