OMG! Company Alleges T-Mobile Blocks Medical Marijuana Texts

Wed Sep 22, 2010 A company that helps companies market their products through text messages has filed suit against T-Mobile for allegedly blocking the company from sending texts relating to medical marijuana use. The company claims that T-Mobile did not approve of WeedMaps, which is a site that provides localized forums medical marijuana patients. The case has drawn the ire of at least one public interest group, Public Knowledge, which is already calling for T-Mobile to allow the texts to go through.
