A man in California has opened fire on his stepdaughter and her family in a restaurant.

He killed her husband and six-year-old son, before killing himself. The stepdaughter and another child are in a critical condition.

Police in the city of San Bernardino said the man arrived at the restaurant on a bicycle, walked to a table and fired from two guns.
