RCMP arrest 12 in drug raid

Seven people are facing charges following early morning RCMP drug raids in Shediac on Saturday.

Police executed search warrants on three houses in Bellevue Heights, Sgt. Jeff Johnston said.

"The searches were conducted for drugs and police seized quantities of marijuana, crack cocaine, ecstasy, speed, illegal prescription medication and large sums of money," Johnston said, adding police also found brass knuckles in one of the homes.
