G20 conspiracy charges dropped against activist

One of 19 people accused of conspiracy during the G20 summit in Toronto has had her charges dropped.

The Finch St. W. courtroom erupted with cheers Monday as the Crown announced there were no reasonable grounds to proceed with charges against Jaroslava Avila, a University of Toronto political science student arrested Sept. 29.
