Ont. prostitution laws will stand for now

 Opponents worry that sex-trade workers from across the country could flock to Ontario if a recent ruling striking down three prostitution laws is upheld. (Reuters)

The Ontario Court of Appeal has ruled that Ontario's prostitution laws will stay in place until April 2011, pending an appeal of a landmark ruling, according to The Canadian Press.

The ruling is scheduled to be officially released Thursday at 11 a.m. ET.
