Surprise guilty plea in Toronto terror trial

Mon May 10, 2010 CBC News Fahim Ahmad, one of three men accused of plotting to attack Parliament, nuclear stations and sites in downtown Toronto, has unexpectedly changed his plea to guilty in mid-trial. The court was told Monday that Ahmad, one of the ringleaders of the Toronto 18, had changed his plea. "You look out here this morning, members of the jury, you'll see Mr. Ahmad is no longer with us," said the judge. "Mr. Ahmad last week decided to change his plea to guilty."
