Russell Williams, the Canadian Forces base commander accused of murdering two eastern Ontario women, has been stripped of command, but will continued to be paid and will continue to hold rank of colonel for the time being. Lieut.-Col. Tony O’Keeffe, who has been appointed as the military's contact with Williams, said Thursday that he would visit the Quinte Detention Centre in the afternoon to give Williams the news about his military status.
