Facebook threat gets boy banned from internet
|
Mon Feb 8, 2010 A Charlottetown boy was given 18 months probation Monday for making a threat against his school on Facebook, and may not use the internet during that time. The 16-year-old pleaded guilty in December to posting the message, "There will be a shooting tomorrow at Charlottetown Rural High School. Hide." Some students who saw the message in October called police. Armed officers were posted at the school the next day, and other security precautions were also taken. |
