33 months for Montreal teen in fatal mugging

Thu Dec 17, 2009 CBC News ___ One of three Montreal teenagers accused of manslaughter in a bus stop mugging death has been sentenced to 33 months in prison. The 16-year-old teenager, who can't be named because he is a minor, was sentenced on Wednesday in a Montreal youth court. He had already admitted his guilt in the beating death of Lien Kim Ngu, 67, a retired seamstress. The teen was one of three boys who are accused of grabbing Ngu last May as she waited for a bus in Montreal North.
