Thu Jun 25, 2009 A 32-year-old Surrey man has become one of the first people in B.C. to get a ticket for smoking with a child in a car. The man, who was driving in Langley with his wife and 12-year-old son, was handed a $109 fine this week. A provincial law came into effect on April 7, banning smoking when a child under the age of 16 is inside a vehicle.
