i am a canadian citizen. my husband came to canada may 23.he was allowed to stay 6 months.his passport expired witihin the 6 months however greek embassy told us that it would take a few months to get it.he went over 6 months however we were going to do"restoration of status"which allows 90 extra days after 6 months since we wanted to also send his papers for permanent residency and sponsorship. he got caught right before getting new passport and received subsection 44(1)exclusion order paragraph 41(a) and29(2).can he still get restoration of status?or appeal??
