Non payment for dog

I sold a dog on $50 payments bi weekly. So far i have recieved no payment, this was early Dec, and I cannot reach the person. I have emailed several times with no reply. What can I do?

Do you have a written agreement?  If not, how would you prove the amount the dog was sold for and what are the terms? 
You often have to compare the amount in dispute with the cost of a legal battle.  Sometimes you just walk away from a dispute.
