Injured on landlord's property

I slipped on some ice created by the overflow of gutters. I broke 2 bones in my wrist and now require surgery. Is athe landlord responsible?

Depending on the circumstances the answer could be yes.  A landlord has responsibilities to keep the property in a reasonably safe condition under the BC Occupier's Liability Act.  If he/she fails to do so and this leads to an injury liability could follow.
