my girlfriend and i are trying to buy a condo from a devolper but they might refuse us cause we dont wanna sign with their bank, they said they've had problems with our bank in the past and they might not sell to us, can they do this

They cannot force you to use their bank but if you haven't already signed a promise to purchase, it might be difficult proving the real reasons for their refusal.
