Once a divorce is granted and sealed, why would I have to go back to court for a financial decision. Divorce granted in 2018, trial continues due to ex will not provide his financial statements, but I was lead to believe once divorce is granted that is it, all done.??

Is your choice, you can file a request with the court and Let them know that you are no longer in interested in the matter, . You did not specify if there is child or spousal support payments that needed to be decided.
