If you are a permanent resident in Canada, you can renounce your status by applying to Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada. Go to their website, click "find an application or guide", then choose "permanent resident card..." and then click on "applying to voluntary renounce permanent resident status" link. I am giving you the link where you can find the forms: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/application/application-forms-gui...

If you are a Canadian citizen, you should use "Citizenship Canada" link on the same website, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
