Visits to nursing homes during the covid-19 pandemic

My elderly mother, in her late 90s, lives in a nursing home in Hamilton, Ontario. Last weekend, the nursing home banned family members from visiting due to the covid-19 pandemic. She is very frail, and needs the extra attention that I (her son) was providing in my daily visits. I think her health will deteriorate quickly without my visits. Do they have the right to ban my visits? Can we hire a lawyer to force them to allow me to visit?
