My debt went from 500.00 to 13,000 in collection....

I had a credit card debt that I was getting sued for, we agreed that I pay 230 a month for a year, the person on the phone told me that I was to pat until July 2019, I did just that, then recently I got a phonecall from them stating that I owed 500.00 still, and that the deal is nil and void, now thay're saying that I owe close to 13,000, and have 10 days to pay it or they're garnishing my wages. I work a minimum wage job, am the only paycheck in my house....What can I do?

you should negotiate a payment plan, and also ask the collection company to send you details as to how the amount increased very quickly from $500 to 13,000 within a short period of time.
You should speak to a Paralegal or Lawyer to help you make sure that you are being protected and not cheated.
