Contract law- can a bride get any money back from her large deposits when she cancels the wedding far in advance?

Several months ago my daughter signed contracts for a wedding venue, photographer, florist and DJ. Unfortunately all the contracts have a non-refundable deposit section. She has cancelled the wedding - 4 months in advance and each service provider has said they will be keeping the full deposit(venue $3500,photographer $3500, DJ $1500 and florist $1000. Is there any chance of getting some of the deposit back since there is enough time for the businesses to get new clients?
