Can landlords prohibit long time guests?

Hello! Can my landlord prohibit me from having over my friend for 3 weeks in my rented apartment? I know that landlords cannot prohibit guests but does that still apply if she would be living with me for 3 weeks? Thank you very much.

unless they are commiting crime or disturbimg other tenants.
