i Have a 3 year old son with my ex. I am currently pregnant with my second by my current boyfriend who is a resident of Quebec ( I live in Ontario). I do not have a legal custody agreement for my son, but I have been his primary caregiver since my ex and I split in September 2017. Since then my ex’s mother and stepfather takes my son weekends because my ex is never really around to see my son. (My ex lives with his parents, he’s 24). He does not pay me child support, just buys diapers and wipes maybe once every 2-3 months and getting that from him is even a struggle. My current boyfriend and I are looking to buy a house in Quebec where he currently lives. So my question is since there is no legal agreement, and my ex does minimal for our son.. am I aloud to move without there being any problems? My ex is aboriginal making my son 1/2 he has a status card.
