Wal-mart employee allergic to my dog

I live in bc and just had a Wal-Mart employee call the police and have me removed from the property. He told me he was allergic to my dog and I make his day hard. Can he do that?

Is your dog a guide dog? If so, The Human Rights Code protects people with various disabilities from discrimination, harassment, and reprisal in all of the areas covered by the Code, including services, goods and facilities, accommodation, contracts, employment, and vocational associations. The definition of disability includes people who rely on guide dogs and service animals.

Feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss. Our practice areas include criminal, human rights laws and landlord and tenant board issues. You can call and text me at 647-360-7182.
