Need advice and guidance on this matter as i have no clue what, to do or who else to ask

So, we watch movie on popcorn time and I just received an email from my internet provider that they received an email saying that I downloaded movies that is against the law now normally we just watch them on there but my son has been on it and had downloaded movies before I noticed they had been downloaded for a few days when I noticed I had elected them. Now there saying I can take the settlement and pay $198 before February 3 or I could face court fees and be charged for downloaded illegally. I'm not sure what to do
