Conditional sentence and medical marijuana

Hello, I'm currently serving a conditional sentence and my conditional sentence order says ' abstain from the consumption of alcohol, other intoxicating substances or non-prescribed drugs. I am a medical marijuana patient with a doctor issued prescription and am registered with a licensed producer, would that interfere against my conditional sentence?

If you have prescription for your medical marijuana, it should not interfere with your conditional sentence but you should still inquire about the specific conditions placed by the court to be sure.

Feel free to get in touch if you would like to discuss further. Our practice areas include criminal, human rights laws and landlord and tenant board issues. You can call and text me at 647-360-7182.
