Can duty cousel present character letters to crown during first appearance?

I have my first appearance this Thursday. I haven’t retained a lawyer yet, I have several letters from my Doctor, Addiction Worker and Employment Services. Will the duty counsel be able to present these to the crown on this day?

Yes, duty counsels are licensed counsel with a law governing body.
but, always have in mind that they are not your retianed lawyer.
Yes, If are in cour t and have documents you want the crown and the judge to see, duty counsel cna help yopu present it to the court(Judge).
