Late invoice payment

Hi.I'm from Brazil and I did a remote work to a company based in Toronto.They not paid me since December 2017.The company said that the client didn't pay them for the work and only i'll pay me whem the client pay them.I wasn't hire for the client to do this work, I was hire for the company and I don't need to wait the client pay the company.

Hello, The original contract would dictate payment terms.  Unless it is clearly stated that your payment was dependent on the 3rd party payment, then you do not need to wait.  We have a qualified paralegal or clerk who could assist you with a demand for payment letter, or an associate who could draft a statement of claim should you need to file suit.  Please contact us at for more information.
