Disclaimers and insurance for fiction authors

I am writing a fictional short story about a boy who has a spiritual experience then goes around talking and giving advice to people. Although it is fiction do I need any sort of extra disclaimers or insurance? I'm not too concerned about defamation/libel. I'm more concerned about people taking the principles that are in the book and applying it to their life and then holding me liable if anything goes wrong.
