Freedom of speech violation ?

Local minor sports organization has just published a document they call the parent code of conduct after reading this document several parents and I are very concerned with the wording regarding possibly a violation of freedom of speech. It appears to be worded in a way to prevent parents that have some concerns with the organize Asian or executive from discussing those concerns and it’s very gray and open ended to almost give the organization unlimited power to discipline or suspend those people from further Involvement

Freedom of expression, which includes speech, is given to Canadians through the Constitution.

It is important to note that this freedom is not unlimited. One of these limits concerns the protection of other citizen's freedoms. To give further advice on this matter, the actual text of this document is needed for review.

Feel free to get in touch if there are any specifics that you would like to discuss. Our practice areas include criminal, human rights laws and landlord and tenant board issues. You can call and text me at 647-360-7182.
