The court misspelled my name wrong for the charges when I asked the clerk at the courthouse, I even showed them my driver's licence, they could not find the charges with my name on the driver licence and they could not provide the court date. After digging at the prosecution office through different name variations, they found the charges. Their records show 1 letter is missing from mine which is why it could not be found under my legal name. Should the charges be dropped due to the spelling of my name wrong and the charges do not show up under my legal name? There has been a warrant issued for the charges but under the misspelled name, which is not me. Please help with advise.
