Missed probation appointment. please help, i'm not sure what to do.

I missed my appointment with my probation officer in June. I called many times to try to reschedule. I left messages and continued to call around 12 different times. Unfortunately due to my living arrangements at the time I had to move and have been couch surfing ever since. My appointment was in June 2011. My probation was supposed to end in Nov 2011. My crime was my second offence. I was caught stealing a purse. I'm so scared that I'm going to go to Jail. What should I do?

You may have a warrant out for your arrest for a breach of probation. You, or a lawyer on your behalf, may try and call the police division where you were initially processed to see if there is an outstanding warrant. If there is, your next step should be to consult with a criminal defence lawyer regarding how to deal with it.
