Introduction

Marina L. Sedai is the owner of Sedai Law Office. Ms. Sedai obtained a B.A. (major: Political Science/International Relations; minor: Psychology) from Simon Fraser University, and a law degree (focus international law) in 2002 from the University of British Columbia. Since articling in corporate/commercial law and civil litigation, she has been practising exclusively immigration law, advising corporations hiring foreign workers, and individuals, couples, and families seeking temporary or permanent residence. She has appeared before the Provincial and Supreme Courts, and the Immigration Appeal Division. Ms. Sedai has been serving on the executive of the BC Canadian Bar Association Immigration Section since 2007, and is the 2011-2012 Chair. Ms. Sedai is a 2010-2012 instructor at the University of British Columbia Certificate in Immigration: Laws, Policies, and Procedures – Economic Classes.
